New Patient Info
At Danubio Chiropractic Offices, we pride ourselves on being very thorough when it comes to diagnosing the cause of your back or neck pain. Back and neck pain is not something to be considered lightly, which is why when you schedule your initial visit with us, you can expect a 60-minute appointment.
OUR FOUR-STEP BACK & NECK PAIN DIAGNOSIS
Consultation: When you step into our Peabody MA chiropractic office, we want you to feel comfortable, which is why we will always have our patients sit down and chat with us about their past medical history. This is your chance to tell us whether or not you have been in a work-related or vehicle accident, have allergies, chronic lower back pain, or other issues.
Initial Exam: Next, Dr. Danubio can quickly narrow down the cause of your back or neck pain by providing orthopedic and neurological testing. This initial physical test is to determine any muscle imbalances along with testing your range of motion.
Diagnostic Testing: To pinpoint the exact locations that are causing you back or neck pain, Dr. Danubio will then perform a MyoVision Exam which is used as a benchmarker to how your body reacts to chiropractic treatment. The thermal imaging shows tension in the muscles where imbalances are occurring, as well as shows progress through treatment.
X-Ray Exam: Although this last step is not always necessary, Dr. Danubio might send you to take X-rays. If you have been in an accident or work-related injury x-rays can help us determine whether or not you have suffered a fracture, scoliosis, and/or other spinal cord injuries.
AFTER YOUR Peabody MA CHIROPRACTIC EXAM
Once all exams have been completed, Dr. Danubio will go over all the findings, outline his diagnosis, go over your x-rays with you, and design a treatment plan that is specific to your needs. This visit will last around 45 minutes and is usually the day after your first visit.
It’s important to understand that each patient is unique, therefore no chiropractic treatment plan will be the same. Please contact our office if you have any further questions regarding our four-step diagnosis process.
